To celebrate Bang & Olufsen's presence in Holland a promotional model was produced by a group of Dutch collectors. Although permission from Lesney products was slow in coming, the basic Y12-3 model "T" van was stripped down and sold in Holland in its new livery of white and red - the company's colours. The design was of a very standard and was applied by using tampo printing. Each model had a number engraved on the baseplate which corresponded with an authenticating certificate. 750 official models and certificates were produced but it is known that a small number of uncertificated models were released to satisfy the collector's need.
